How to view any image online
- Drop an image on the box, click "open a file", or paste a screenshot with Ctrl+V. To view an image from the web, paste its link and press Open image.
- Zoom with the buttons, the mouse wheel, a pinch or a double click, drag to move around, rotate, or switch to full screen.
- Check the file name, dimensions, aspect ratio, type and file size under the image.
- For a link, copy the viewer link or share it to WhatsApp, X, Facebook, Telegram, LinkedIn or Reddit.
Open HEIC photos without converting them
iPhones save photos as HEIC, which Windows, Android and most browsers cannot show. This viewer decodes HEIC and HEIF right in your browser, so you can look at the photo, zoom in and check its size without installing an app or uploading it to a converter.
Every common image format in one place
- Photos: JPG, JPEG, HEIC, HEIF, AVIF and WebP.
- Graphics and screenshots: PNG, GIF (animated GIFs keep moving), SVG and BMP.
- Print and scans: TIFF and TIF, including scanner output.
- Icons: ICO favicons.
Private by design
The viewer is a page in your browser. Files from your device never leave it, and images from links are loaded straight from their own address. Nothing is uploaded, copied or stored.
Frequently asked questions
Which image formats can I open?
JPG and JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF (animated too), SVG, BMP, ICO, TIFF and HEIC or HEIF photos from iPhones and iPads. HEIC and TIFF normally do not open in a browser; this viewer converts them in your browser so you can see them straight away.
How do I open a HEIC photo on Windows or Android?
Drop the .heic file on the viewer, choose it with "Open a file", or paste a link to it. The photo is decoded on your own device and shown at full quality, with its width, height and file size. No app or upload is needed.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Files you open from your device stay on your device; the viewer reads them in your browser. Images opened from a link are loaded straight from their own address. We never upload, copy or store them.
Can I open an image from a link?
Yes. Paste any public image link and press Open image, or open a viewer link like tools.corenexis.com/image/image-viewer?image=https://... directly. JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF and SVG links open from any site. HEIC and TIFF links open when the hosting server allows other websites to read the file, which the Corenexis CDN does.
How do I share an image I opened?
For an image opened from a link, use Copy viewer link or the share buttons for WhatsApp, X, Facebook, Telegram, LinkedIn and Reddit. A file opened from your device is private to you, so it has no share link; upload it with Image to URL first if you want to share it.
Why are the file size or type sometimes missing for a link?
Width, height and aspect ratio are always read from the loaded image. Size and type come from the image server, and some servers do not let other websites read them. The image itself still opens normally.
How do I zoom on a phone?
Pinch with two fingers, use the plus and minus buttons, or double tap the image to switch between fit and 100 percent. Drag the image to move around when it is larger than the screen.
